PROGRAM

The Weekend Overview
An exciting weekend is planned, starting on Saturday the 30th April at 12:30 pm where Gympie is hosting us for Lunch. Then off to Bundaberg Saturday, night for Dinner & Song.
Sunday 1st is off to Gayndah for Church at 11:00 am followed by Lunch and Fellowship.
Then off to Maryborough for Dinner and Evening Event at St Pauls.
The pilgrimage finishes on Monday with Maryborough parish providing breakfast and then we head home
No Buses
As said in the Flyer, it is almost impossible to organise a bus in these Covid times.
Rules and regulations make the cost prohibitive for us all to afford.
Why the Far Northern Region
The last Pilgrimage to the Western Region out to Mitchell to support Parishes in drought.
This time we travel to the far north of our Diocese to show our support to our Cursillistas
in these Regions.
Accommodation & Meals
We are compiling lists of places to stay overnight on Saturday at Bundaberg and Sunday at Maryborough. Each Parish visited is providing a meal, Lunch or Dinner.
They will be typical Church meals, low cost, good quality and a lot of fun.
We will pay for our own meals at the door as a fundraiser for that Parish.
Finally
This is going to be a fun event where we can all join together at venues away from our normal Parishes. If you can't make it to all venues, just pick the ones that suit you.
We realise that many of you are unable to drive distances so "Car Pooling" with someone from your Parish, sharing fuel costs is a great idea.
Our own Sally Turnbull has worked hard to make this all happen. Thank you Sally.
‘All of us are on two journeys in life. There is the outer journey we make as citizens of the world, but it is the inner journey to the heart which is far more important, takes longer, and is more challenging. What better way to be transformed by the journey than to walk with Jesus Himself?’
Chris Gleeson SJ
We hope that many will join us on this weekend. There’s plenty of room!
